“They write their own biographies…

and they do it from scratch,” Hymowitz remarks in her WSJ article, Where Have the Good Men Gone?

It’s a constant struggle on how to be or who to be. Whether we think our ambiance is exuding all the right notions, or we come to realize that everything we though was true, is actually a figment of our imagination.

The time flies, the recklessness fades away, like the simple adrenaline that rushes through your body, from head to toe, when the world seems to come to a halt. It’s a beautiful ride, full of photographs that remind you of the simplicity you once knew. It’s a flash of momentum, a glimpse of the beauty that filled you, whether it was 24 seconds, or hours at a time.

It’s important to take the time to recollect yourself. In a flash summer has arrived and a little dose of relaxation is never enough. Within the past few months I’ve been working, sunbathing, dining and dancing, with friends who make it memorable. It’s shocking that within one year of graduation, so many things have come and gone, and the hours that we spent doing daily routines have brought us to a new place and time.

Instead of writing, I try to embrace the moment, but whats a girl to do when all of those enjoyable times are forgotten! Well world, I’ll try to be better in the future. That’s the best I can offer. So here are few things that I’ve come across recently that I’d like to share, maybe you’ll enjoy:

1. iomoi.com: canvas pillows, lucite trays, bags. I’ve mentioned it before but I can’t help but reflect it again.

2. pinterest.com: a storyboard, a bulletin, a collection of things you love. “Pin It” and share your goodies with everyone and anyone.

3. 8tracks: Pick your mood, find a tag and happy humming. A girlfriend of mine showed me this site and it has a wide selection.

4. Blog “Le Love:” For the romantic at heart, a blog with photos that speak for themselves and stories that epitomize the ups & downs in the relationship world. And the photos, to die for…

5.Three Wishes wine at Wholefoods: For $3.95 a bottle, it’s delightful, inexpensive and delicious!

Let’s settle on those for now. Hope the early June storms and sweltering heat aren’t putting a damper on your fun. For any of those around the Charlottesville, VA area… an event to attend is “Starry Nights” at Veritas Vineyard in Crozet. Pack your cheese & crackers in your picnic basket, grab a quilted blanket, wine glasses are provided… just make sure you have a camera to capture the moments.

Again, apologies for the delay, always room for improvement. Suggestions are welcome! Ta ta… xS
